One of the tools available to a skilled Ogle model maker is Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining which produces parts from a 3D CAD file.

With extensive CNC capabilities, including a large frame Belotti (producing parts up to 4m x 2.6m x 1.3m) which enables the model making team to produce large components in much shorter times than previously possible. The work horse Correa and Bridgeport machines offer further capacity. Plus, recently added, a high speed Fanuc machine which produces complex parts and assemblies, fast, in real materials, that include, but are not limited to:

Getting the best out of a CNC requires skill and knowledge, the Ogle team has considerable toolmaking and model making experience. They are not operators but have the skill to utilize the best machine for the part together with an eye for material selection and the ability to split larger projects into components.
