The Parker Icount BS is designed to perform cleanliness monitoring tests on liquids presented in industry standard bottles. Using innovative laser particle detection technology, the Icount BS produces fast, accurate, repeatable and reproducible results presented to the operator via the ergonomically positioned touch screen, paper print-out or stored to a USB memory stick. Product Partners worked very closely with Parker to design, develop, prototype and manufacture a packaging concept based on; - Ease of use and transportable.. - Robust, compact construction. - Cost effective manufacture. - Ease of assembly. - Creating a visual and instantly recognisable brand. Throughout all stages of the development process, Product Partners utilised the expert services of Ogle Models and Prototypes to provide rapid prototype components for various evaluation rigs, culminating in the manufacture of a definitive prototype for client sign-off. Ogle used it's newest P730 SLS processes capability to build the development pressure chambers, subsequently tested to plus 4bar and fine build SLA processes, combined with sheet metal and cast aluminium processes were used to build the definitive prototype. Spray painted and finished by Ogle, the prototype component parts were assembled by Product Partners for client presentations, mechanical and market test prior to production manufacture. |
