Ogle Models and Prototypes Ltd uses its expertise in rapid prototyping for leading medical industry company. What we did: • Reviewed the bill of materials and established the process for each part • Creation of a fabricated steel chassis • Production of CNC machine tooling for the ‘A’ surface, allowing production of larger batches • Production of silicon tooling for the ‘B’ surface fittings, to give flexibility. This allowed us to produce RIM (Reactive Injection Moulded) parts in particularly tough material • Matching the colour to a swatch provided by the client • Application of a hard, two pack paint system to ensure it would last • Assembly and packaging of all parts |
